What’s New This Week: Insider, Allies, Fett Comics and More!

Here’s a look at what new books are available this week for Star Wars readers….

Star Wars Insider #125
The latest issue of the official Star Wars magazine goes on sale this week, and is already on its way to subscribers.Inside, find all your favorite columns, plus feature articles on The Clone Wars: Supervising director Dave Filoni looks back on Season Three and talks about Season Four. Insider rounds up the 50 greatest reasons to revisit Season Three, and this issue features interviews with Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca!), Tom Kane (Yoda!), Stephen Stanton (Tarkin!) and Katie Lucas, writer of the Nightsisters Trilogy.

On the classic Star Wars side, Insider talks to production designer Norman Reynolds on the creation of the amazing sets and scenery from Episodes IV, V and VI.

Fans of the Expanded Universe can look forward to an all-new, exclusive tale,First Blood, by Christie Golden with illustrations by Brian Rood. It features Vestara Khai from the Fate of the Jedi series.

Darth Vader and the Lost Command #4

Star Wars Adventures: Boba Fett and the Ship of Fear
Dark Horse continues their popular all-ages digest-sized series with an all new graphic novel starring Boba Fett! The wreck of the Reverie, a four-hundred-year-old abandoned luxury liner is rumored to house an ancient relic of immense value. When Boba comes into possession of a map revealing the ship’s current whereabouts, he sets his sights on the prize. But he’s not alone-two bounty-hunting brothers with a grudge against Fett are now on his trail, hoping to win the treasure for themselves. But, neither Boba nor the brothers are prepared for what else is lurking within the creepy corridors of the forsaken Reverie Boba Fett and the Ship of Fear is by writer Jeremy Barlow and artist Daxiong, with cover art by Sean McNally. Star Wars Blood Ties — A Tale of Jango and Boba Fett
This trade paperback collects all four issues of Star Wars: Blood Ties, a multigenerational tale of honor and redemption, starring two of the heaviest hitters in the Star Wars galaxy–the father-and-clone team of Jango and Boba Fett! Star Wars: The Old Republic: Volume 2 — Threat of Peace
This trade paperback collects Threat of Peace comics series, which originally appeared online at SWTOR.com. It’s a look at the era of Star Wars: The Old Republic, written by one of the writers behind LucasArts and BioWare’s wildly anticipated massive multiplayer online game.Threat of Peace unveils a galaxy on the brink of destruction three hundred years after the events of Knights of the Old RepublicThreat of Peace is by writer Rob Chestney, artist Alex Sanchez and colorist Michael Atiyeh, with cover art by Benjamin Carre.
